Clan Citadels

Clan Citadels are floating castles that act as homes for clans. They offer the perfect place for groups of players to plan and practice their attacks for domination of the RuneScape world.

In fact, Clan Citadels can serve several different purposes. They can act as an ideal meeting point, offering senate and several meeting rooms that can be both public or private. They can be a celebratory area, with drop parties taking place in a specific party room. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the clan battlefield can be used to create, edit and host combat minigame scenarios. These scenarios can be open to other clanmates or to other clans, meaning you can settle disputes on the battlefield.

Mini Games

Can you brave the desert heat in the Agility Pyramid? Dodge every obstacle that comes your way in order to reach the top of the pyramid. Retrieve the precious artefact and gain lots of agility XP along the way.

Perhaps you'd rather take part in an epic battle with your friends to protect the void night from an ambush of monsters in Pest Control, or team up against other adventurers in a fight to defend your flag in Castle Wars.

Learn powerful God Spells and earn a nifty God Cape and Staff to go with them at the Mage Arena, you'll be the envy of all your fellow adventurers.

These are just some of the many different members' only mini games and activities just waiting to be discovered. Not only will you have lots of fun and make new friends, but you'll gain lots of XP and members only items too. Have you got what it takes to stand out from the crowd?

Boss Hunting

Do you laugh in the face of death? Then gather a team of like minded adventurers and take on Nex, the strongest and most powerful monster in all of RuneScape.

If you're after something a little less daunting but still quite a challenge, get on over to the Wilderness where the Corporeal Beast lies in wait in the gloomy darkness of the caves.

Team work and strategy is the key to boss hunting as well as epic combat skills to match, slay the beasts and obtain great rewards - do you have what it takes?

Transport

Tired of the old fashioned walking technique? For those of you who like disappearing in a flutter of butterflies, why not try the Fairy Ring System? This mythical method of transport sweeps you all over the map using different colour rings and a pinch of fairy dust.

If you're too macho for such a method then why not try the Spirit Trees on for size? These ancient gnome trees are dotted all around RuneScape and make for an effective transport method, especially when visiting Farming patches.

Agility Shortcuts are the ever popular way to navigate around the RuneScape world; you'll wonder what you ever did without them. There are so many to discover, from balancing on logs to cross choppy waters to using grapple hooks to scale walls.

Distractions & Diversions

If you're after a way to collect XP that's a lot of fun at the same time, we recommend Distractions & Diversions. These are all over the RuneScape members worlds, they allow for team work and bonding as well as the all important XP as well.

Weeding the garden is a tough job but someone's got to do it. Evil Trees are popping up all over RuneScape and it's up to you and your friends to chop them down. Sound Easy? Think again. With their branches flailing all over the place it's difficult to stay in one place for too long, use the right balance of fire and a good old fashioned axe to combat these menaces.

Member Only Skills

When you become a member you will have access to nine exclusive members' only skills.

Train the Construction skill and build your very own party pad or master Thieving and never pay at the market again. Perhaps you'd rather mix your own potions, grow your own food or create your own range gear, well now you can with the Fletching, Farming and Herblore skills.

If you love all creatures great and small then the Summoning skill is the one for you, summon pets and creatures to aid you in gaining XP faster. Whether it's slaying monsters and gathering valuable items or laying traps and waiting patiently out of sight for your prey, Hunter and Slayer are sure to get the adrenaline pumping. Being light on your feet is the key to training Agility, master this skill and take all the shortcuts to get to your destination faster.

Player Owned House

Construct a Player Owned House while training the Construction skill, as you improve you will unlock more locations, rooms and furniture to create your very own bachelor pad.

Start with basic materials such as wood and stone then work your way up to marble and fancy stone. You can even create gardens and menageries where you can keep the house cat or a pet dragon.

There's plenty of room to store all of your supplies too. The costume room is where all your skill capes, fancy dress clothes and shoes are kept, the kitchen cupboards are always full and the workshop always has everything a good handy man (or woman!) needs.

Create your very own chapel and level your prayer skill and take advantage of the portal chamber to quickly go back and forth to the bank. Working on your combat techniques and testing out weapons has never been easier or safer, construct a dungeon and place popular monsters in its depths.

RuneScape Forums

All RuneScape members have access to the forums no matter how new or old your account might be.

The forums are full of lots of useful information and it's also somewhere you can post your own questions, or even offer help and advice to your fellow RuneScapers.

The forums are also a brilliant and effective way to find a team to go Boss Hunting or to find a partner to help you finish a quest.

You can find information on all of the skills and quests available to you and browse through items and monster discussion threads to gain valuable knowledge and improve your techniques.

There are specific threads to keep you updated on recent updates to our systems and the game itself and there's even a section for your suggestions.

As a member on the RuneScape forums you can also have your characters picture taken ready for the avatar that appears next to all of your posts, be sure you look your best.

Increased Bank Space & Extra Grand Exchange Boxes

As a member you have a massive 438 bank spaces whereas free players are limited to 68.

The same goes for Grand Exchange boxes, as a member you have access to 6 boxes whereas free players are limited to 2.

Members Items

When you become a member you will have access to a more varied range of equipment, weapons and armour.

The abyssal whip is a fast and powerful melee weapon and not only does it look awesome, but it packs quite a punch as well.

Dragon equipment is considered one of the best and most hard hitting in RuneScape, weapons such as dragon claws and the dragon dagger are just two things you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of.

It would be a bad idea to fight a monster while wearing no armour. Why not kit yourself out with some strong and sturdy armour like Bandos? This armour is popular among adventurers when training combat or slayer.

Need to get that level a little faster? Brawling gloves might just be your key to success. Obtained by successfully killing Revenants in the wilderness, brawling gloves give extra XP in a skill of your choice, there are 13 sets to collect.

Refer A Friend

Bring your friends to RuneScape and get a 10% XP boost. Find out more here.

Use the Refer a Friend link to invite a friend; they will receive a starter pack and a double XP modifier for a whole week. If they then decide to become part of the RuneScape family for good and become a member within two weeks, you receive a 10% XP boost for 7 days.

Inside the starter pack, your friend will find a cracker that when pulled gives the player a hat, one piece of clothing, a weapon, 500 coins and a cake to get them started.
