Trying out the combat beta in the Wilderness

My name is Mod Michelle and I am the RuneScape Web Editor. My job is to add new pages to the Wiki for any content that we launch, new or reworked.

In addition to adding new content, I also:

• Fix any inconsistencies or incorrect information on the wiki.
• Play around with the wiki StyleSheet.
• Fix or implement your suggestions! I check for these in the following places:

  • Things To Do.
  • Things To Fix.
  • My discussion page.
  • Forums

Projects

Ongoing Projects

• Text images - As I can't upload .psd files here, I can make anything that looks like Image:stab title.gif for you. Just leave me a note on one of the pages above and I'll get right on it if I think it is appropriate.
• Orphan Help Programme I'll occasionally go through the orphaned page list and put categories onto the pages. This means they can be more easily located.

Current Projects

• Skill Section Reworks - I'm taking each of the skills and reworking their pages to match Melee, Prayer, Magic etc.

On-Hold Projects

• Quest Help - I'll be copying over the hints from the old Quest Help system as temporary walkthroughs for quests without them. These will need to be re-written, of course, and many of the images updated, but I figure this is better than a blank page. :) (Note this is on hold - I've decided it would be better to re-write them all).
• Item Database - Going through the Jagex internal database and updating all item pages with this information. (the only thing I don't have access to from this database is the alchemy spell results - items without this will be added - automatically - to Category:Item pages missing alchemy info)

Future Projects

• Map squares - It has been asked that access to the images I use for any maps I make. Such as Image:polyplore level1.jpg. This is a *huge* project as there are a lot of map squares but I do plan on making these available for you to use. Will be cool to see you guys make new maps :D

Finished Projects

• Development team - Spicing up and making the developer listing on pages such as Polypore Dungeon more consistent. It's not very pretty in the current format and throughout the wiki pages there are different names used for the same job.
• Weapon Stats Table Improvement - Improving the templates: Template:Equipmenttablerow and Template:Equipmenttablehead to prevent stats going onto two lines and make it more readable. I've so far updated the table header images to look nicer and am working on the spacing issues in my sandbox.
• Navigation - Since we launched the wiki it has been mentioned that it's quite difficult to navigate, what with the lack of breadcrumbs and all. I agree with this so I'm working on taking what you guys have done with templates like Template:BronzeItems and Template:GameGuideNav, and applying this to all the pages that myself and Mod AJD copied over from the Knowledgebase. This is quite a large project so I'll be doing it in stages. Feel free to edit any templates I have made for this purpose. Particularly over in the Area Guides to help out the Area Guides guys.
• Quest Merge Project - This involves making all the quests have their spoiler data (walkthrough/reward/synopsis) on one page. I've used NESGamepro's template but tweaked it slightly.
  
  Quest pages now look like:

  • All Fired Up - Spoilers
• Template clear out With the navigation changes, a lot of templates are not in use. I'm going to remove these and generally tidy up the templates category.
• Quest XP Rewards - I'll be adding the experience received for completing quests on the Quest Experience Pages.

Sandbox

Occasionally I play with Mod Michelle's Sandbox so you might see fun things appear there.
