Oak logs are obtained in the woodcutting skill by chopping oak trees. Chopping an oak log requires a woodcutting level of 15 and gives 37.5 woodcutting experience. They can also be lit at level 15 firemaking granting 60 firemaking experience.
Oak logs are also used to create oak planks by taking the logs and 250 coins to the Sawmill northeast of Varrock.
