Pernix cowls are one of the few pieces of armour that Nex drops. They require 80 Ranged, 80 Constitution, and 80 Defence in order to be worn.

Along with all other pieces of Pernix armour, it degrades completely after 10 hours of combat. It costs 500,000 coins to have the cowl repaired at Bob's Brilliant Axes, or 250,000 coins at an armour stand with 100 Smithing (99+ Smithing skillcape boost).

Wearing the Pernix cowl inside the God Wars Dungeon will make all creatures within it non-aggressive.

Special Effects

• When the Pernix cowl is worn players maximum hitpoints are raised by 66.
• When the full set of Pernix is worn hitpoints become 400 more than maximum.
• The effect also increases how much Saradomin brews, Healing Aura scroll and Sweetcorn heals the player.
