A pinned task will consist of the task icon and name, and a description of the task. The bar at the bottom of the interface will show you how far you have progressed with the task. If the bar is full, your task is complete.
Note that if the task description is long, you will be able to use the 'next' and 'previous' buttons to navigate through the description. The 1 / 2 text between these buttons will let you know what page you are on and how many pages there are. If there is only one page of description, these items will not show.
Also on this interface is a 'Open Noticeboard' button which will open up the Noticeboard. If you do not have a pinned task, you will only see the 'Open Noticeboard' button.
Your pinned task will also appear on the left hand side of your game screen if you do not want the pinned task interface open. The layout is similar to the pinned task interface but allows you to access the Noticeboard from the bottom of the interface, rather than the top.
Pressing the cross icon on either screen will unpin your task.
