Rune gauntlets provide the highest strength bonus in the free to play game, outside of dungeoneering. They can be purchased from the Fist of Guthix reward shop, for 200 tokens, or the uncharged version (which provide fewer bonuses) can be purchased directly from the Grand Exchange and the charged at the cost of 20 tokens. The gauntlets will never un-charge on their own, and the only way to make them lose their charge is to lose them on death (they will remain charged when playing games such as Safe Clan Wars. Alternatively you can use them with Reggie (who owns the shop) and have him uncharge them.
