The Rune scimitar is a one-handed melee weapon. It is the second strongest non-degradable scimitar available to both free players and members. As a fairly fast weapon with decent damage, it was popular in free-to-play prior to the introduction of the Evolution of Combat. It is the strongest scimitar for free-to-play.

The rune scimitar requires level 50 Attack to wield and can be made via the Smithing skill.
