A Runesphere is a distraction and diversion in Runespan. You will know when a Runesphere is active when the icon on your top left screen pops up with the Runesphere icon, saying "runesphere active." A Runesphere requires multiple players to siphon from the floating ball glowing with energy. Players must successfully crack 14 layers of energy before reaching the core; in which then you may trade in the Rune Dust you acquired from siphoning the then-active Runesphere.

Players gain 25 experience per Rune Dust when handing in their dust to the pure energy that pops out of the Runesphere after all layers have been siphoned. You can gain a maximum of 1,000 Rune Dust per day, but you may only cash in the dust for experience once per day to the core of pure energy.

Runesphere's will appear every few hours on a random island, and random floor. Players will have to collaboratively search for the Runesphere. A Runesphere will never switch islands once it is active. Runesphere's will deactivate after 1 hour, regardless of how many layers have been siphoned or not. To determine the floor of the Runesphere, hover the mouse over the Runesphere icon.
