Known Issues:
  • We are currently experiencing some issues with the Recruit a Friend service, where the recruiter may not be awarded with their free month membership once the recruitee creates their subscription. Rest assured this is something we are working to correct and hopefully will be fixed shortly.
  • The PayByPhone payment service is temporarily unavailable. We're currently working to restore service through an alternate payment provider. Please do not call any of our paybyphone numbers at the moment as you may still be charged. There are a wide variety of quick and easy alternate payment options available to check out on the subscription page - be sure to take a look!
Customer Service Notices:
  • We are experiencing issues with AOL/AIM email accounts where players are not receiving password change requests, email change requests and JAG related emails.

    We ask players who have these email addresses to navigate to the contact us page, where they will be able to find our contact details, and email us with an alternative email address. We will be able to register an alternative email address to account to solve this problem.

RuneScape is one of the largest, most expansive online fantasy games on the web today. It has over 200 million registered accounts and a loyal following that continues to make incredible use of its bravery, intuition, cunning and wit to explore the game world, discovering adventure, battling rival clans and conquering a massive online world.

While in the fantasy world of Gielinor, players can develop their abilities in a number of skills, such as fishing, crafting and smithing. They can then use these talents to complete a variety of exciting quests, battle monsters or get involved in the thriving RuneScape economy.

RuneScape continues to expand all the time, but membership can open up whole new areas to conquer. A RuneScape subscription will grant you access to a world over three times larger than that found in the free game, with more than 150 additional quests to test your abilities. Subscribers will also be able to learn and practice nine new skills, and will have access to 20 minigames that are available to members only.

When players enter RuneScape, they are armed with more than armour and a shield. They are armed with the tools and resources they need to have a safe and fun gaming experience. In the other sections of the Safety Centre, you will find out more about these facilities.
