Seren is the goddess of the elves and of crystal. Seren is also believed to be the divine aspect of the Anima Mundi (as refereed to in the Path of Glouphrie quest).
Seren took no part in the God Wars, being mainly a goddess of peace, but has some observations about them. Seren believes that, sometimes, it's best to allow other people to rule things their own way.
Seren arrived on Gielinor through the World Gate, along with the elves, in the First Age. This would make her the second god (behind Guthix) to arrive on Gielinor.
During the Tribute to Guthix event, players could relive memories of Guthix's life. Some of these memories spoke of Seren and Guthix working together to help the mortals they had brought to Gielinor, but when Guthix had asked her to leave so that the mortals could continue alone without the help of the gods, she did not. Instead she stayed, later splitting herself into parts at the end of the God Wars.
Trivia
- Before May 27th 2013 Seren's part in the God Wars was not known. It was only talked about in the FunOrb game Armies of Gielinor, where there is a Seren army. Before the release of this game, she (along with the Menaphite Pantheon) were the only two gods who were not yet known to have participated in the God Wars.
- According to the FunOrb game Armies of Gielinor, Crystalline Shapeshifter also follows Seren.
- Before May 27th 2013 the true symbol of Seren was unknown as the only altar to her has no symbol upon it. However, it was hinted that her symbol is a diamond outline. The figure for Seren, a white-haired elf, was flanked by a diamond. As the Saradomin, Guthix, Zamorak, and Bandos symbols were in the same locations for their respective followers, it was though likely that this was Seren's symbol.
