+ [[Image:bless_options1.gif|frame|right|The right-click options of a gravestone.]]Gravestones will protect your items when you die in most areas. They will remain safe for between 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the gravestone owned by the player. During this time, the player's items will be safe, and '''cannot''' be taken by other places. A gravestone timer and arrow pointing to it will appear on the compass. However, when this timer expires, the player's items will immediately become visible to other players, and will disappear after 60 seconds.

+ A player may demolish their gravestone in order to make retrieving the items beneath more accessible. This does not immediately reveal the items to other players, but they will become visible and appear to other players after a certain amount of time like items dropped in the normal way.

+ Other players may bless or repair a gravestone. Repairing causes a damaged grave's timer to be increased to 5 minutes, requiring level 2 [[Prayer]]. Blessing extends the gravestone's timer up to one hour, but it may not be done more than once. Blessing requires level 70 Prayer.
