Squirrel ears were the reward from the 2010 Easter Event. When you right click the ears it comes up with two options, "Summon Minion" and "Juggle". Clicking "Summon Minion" will summon a squirrel called Fluffy, and, if you successfully managed the Easter Bunny's factory in under 15 turns, will also be able to summon another squirrel called Charlie the Squirrel. They both say things at random and disappear after a short amount of time. Once they disappear, they cannot be summoned again until after 30 minutes. Clicking "Juggle", will result in a squirrel appearing and jumping around on you.
You can get this back from your toy box or Diango.
