Documentation

name

The name that will appear above the infobox. If this field is not used or left blank, the page title will be used instead.

members

Sets whether the item is available to free players or limited to members.

Yes

Makes this template include {{Members content}} above the infobox and adds the page to Category:Members Content. Please look for existing inclusions of {{Members content}} and remove them.

No

Makes this template include {{Free-to-play content}} above the infobox and adds the page to Category:Free-to-play content.

Any other response will add nothing above the infobox.

Some older pages will not have the members field on the page.

itemid

The item's entry on the Grand Exchange database. Specifying this will create a link to the item's page on the GE section of the website.

No

Use if the item doesn't have a GE entry.

Use for pages which represent collections of items (typically disambiguation pages) - e.g. Halloween mask

If this is set and imagefile is not, then the GE database image will be used.

Getting the itemid

To get the item ID of a tradeable item, go to the Grand Exchange database and search for the item you want. When you found the item that you're looking for in the list, click the link so that it opens in a new browser tab or window (ctrl+click, shift+click or click the link by pressing in the scroll wheel of the mouse). When the new page has loaded, the number at the end of the URL is the item ID.

Example:
Click this: GE Details and look at the URL of the page. The item ID is 1521.

imagefile

A picture or icon of the item. Use image syntax in this field, such as [[image:example.jpg]]

If no file is given but itemid is set, the infobox will use the GE database file for that entry. If this is also blank or does not exist, the infobox will try to use the page title for a file name instead. Should this fail, no image is given and the article is added to Category:Item pages missing images.

quest

Specifies whether any quests are required to use or create the item.

No

Use this if the item doesn't require any quests.

Otherwise, give the full name of any quests and link to their appropriate pages. Use <br> to seperate list entries.

This parameter will add items to Category:Quest items if used.

trade

Specifies whether the item can be traded between players - Yes if the item can be traded, otherwise No.

lend

Specifies whether the item can be lent to other players - Yes if the item can be lent, otherwise No. If equip is "No", then this will not be displayed in the table - if there are any non-equipables that are lendable ever released, this needs to be fixed.

equip

Specifies whether the item can be equipped - Yes if the item can be equipped, otherwise No.

stack

Specifies whether the item stacks in the inventory without needing to be a banknote - Yes if the item stacks, otherwise No.

high

The number of coins given by casting High Level Alchemy on the item.

low

The number of coins given by casting Low Level Alchemy on the item.

destroy

Specifies whether the item is destroyed or dropped to discard it.

Drop

Use this if the item can be dropped. This will add the page to Category:Items that are dropped.

Any other response will add the page to Category:Items that are destroyed.

store

The number of coins given by selling the item to a store.

examine

The item's examine message. If the item has an entry on the GE database (GE Details), clicking the link on the infobox will display a page that includes the examine message.

weight

The item's weight in kilograms (kg). For equipped items, weight can be determined in-game by clicking the "Equipment Stats" button on the Worn Equipment menu. Right-clicking the "Stats" of any worn object will display its weight.

The equipment screen rounds weight into whole numbers, so the right-click stats menu should always be used to record weight.
