An Uncut sapphire is a gem that, once cut into an sapphire, is primarily used in the crafting skill to make sapphire jewelry. It can be cut with a chisel at a level 20 crafting which gives 50 crafting experience.

Uncut sapphires are obtained mainly by mining rocks and they can be obtained faster by mining Gem rocks and wearing an amulet of glory with at least one charge. The Gem store in the Monkey Colony has one uncut sapphire in stock that can be bought for 25 coins.

This gem can be found at it's natural spawn point at level ?? wilderness on the top of the giant spider mound.

People often use this item to train their crafting level as cutting it is up to 210k xp per hour.
