The Wicked hood is a members-only item obtained from Tam McGrubor in Burthorpe and it was released on 17 October 2011 together with the Hallowe'en event.

All members having level 5 or higher in Runecrafting can obtain a free hood by talking with Tam McGrubor located on the eastern border of the city centre with the fountains.

Each day the Wicked hood may give:

• 2 free teleports to a Runecrafting altar (unlocked by adding a talisman to the hood)
• 100 Pure Essence if an Omni-Talisman is used with the hood, otherwise it gives 100 Rune Essence, with 25 extra essence for every piece of the wicked robe set.
• Up to 10 higher level runes (Blood, Death, etc) or up to 200 lower level runes (air, earth, etc)

It is recommended to visit Elriss at the Great Orb Project and show her all of the existing Runecrafting talismans for a free Omni-Talisman. Elriss will keep the talismans and gives a one-time amount of free Runecrafting experience which increases for each talisman.
