- XP Display
When you level up a skill, you often gain access to new quests, things to do and places to visit. The XP pop-ups keeps you up-to-date with this. Any XP gain will be shown in a small icon at the top of your screen, in the middle. This will show what skill you have gained XP in and how much you have to go until the next level. As the area around the outside of the icon fills, the closer you are to the next level.
When you gain a level, the icon becomes larger and shows you what level you have reached in the skill. Up to 5 new content items that reaching this level unlocks are also shown to you in the area below the icon.
Also, each time you gain XP, the increase will rise up from your character.
You can turn off the these notifications through interface settings. To get there, press 'Esc' on your keyboard, or press the on the ribbon, and press 'Interface Settings'. From here untick 'XP pop-ups' and these notifications will no longer show.
