Open Treasure Hunter chests this weekend for a taste of a draconic hoard – up to four times the loot!
Each chest you open between 00:00 UTC on the 2nd of July and 23:59 UTC on the 6th of July gives you the chance for your next set of chests to be dragon chests, styled after Gielinor’s fire-breathing monstrosities.

Dragon chests multiply the prize you'd get from a regular chest. The rarer the metal the chest is made of, the more loot you'll get:
- Adamant – 2x
- Rune – 3x
- Dragon – 4x
Note that this will apply whether you use Keys individually or in tens.
This applies to everything available on Treasure Hunter – lamps, stars, gear, and more – so you can enjoy dragon-sized XP gains or a veritable trove of treasure.

What is Treasure Hunter?
Treasure Hunter is a minigame – playable from within RuneScape - where players use Keys to claim in-game items as prizes. These range from useful resources to rare weapons and exclusive gear.
Playing Treasure Hunter is simple – click the treasure chest icon that pops up when you log in. If you've not played before, just follow the on-screen guide.
Everyone gets at least one Key per day, and RuneScape members get two. You can earn more Keys while playing the game, or stock up by redeeming Bonds.
If you'd like more, you can also buy Keys on the website, or by clicking 'Buy Keys' within the Treasure Hunter interface in-game.
